Data Verification

D

ata management procedures establish guidelines for data validation. Regardless of methodology, most companies depend on quality audits to verify that data management procedures and programming were reliable. The goal of a data verification audit is to determine the accuracy of clinical trial data as reported from the clinical investigator(s). Audits can be conducted at any point during a clinical trial; however, most are done prior to database lock to ensure the validity of the clinical trial database. Whether reviews need to be done on hard or electronic copies, on data listings, or technical reports, MedTrials' auditors have the expertise to efficiently review both small- and large-scale projects. These audits can be conducted in the field, at the data management center, or at MedTrials headquarters in Dallas.

Our data verification audits focus on:

  • Process documentation
  • Data accuracy

Raw Data Checks
Additionally, for international regulatory submission, raw data checks are oftentimes required. MedTrials is experienced at providing these raw data checks and can work with you to ensure that your data has been verified per your submission requirements.
